Hello, Françoise!

I really like the template that you've chosen for your blog; I love those greens!

I've never been to Guadeloupe, but your snapshot reminds my of Yoron - way down south in Japan.

I used to teach French, too, in Montana - U.S., not Switzerland.

Blog on!

Dear Françoise,

I just loved the photo on your sidebar.

Should you need any help, just shout!

Thanks for the encouragement !
What is the winter like in your respective countries ? (I have a friend who works for Yokahoma university in Japan - not sure the spelling is right).
Here, snow has arrived (at last) : ski-ers are happy and that includes most of our pupils. My daughter has just come back from a week ski-ing and had great fun.
Back to the teaching routine on Monday.
Hope to see in week 3 how I can use a blog to bring some benefits to my teaching.
A+

Hello!
Pics are super!
Title is super, too!
But "Learnandsmile" - Do you mean anything special by saying it? :))

This is my first winter near Osaka, Japan. It snowed lightly once and the temperatures haven't dipped too low. Actually, I miss wintery weather, so I loved your picture titled "Switzerland or Narnia"!

Keep blogging--you're doing great!

I love the way you present your blog: it's nice and warm, so as teaching is too.
We haven't got snow in Buenos Aires in Winter and our Summers are hot and damp.
Hope you accomplish your dream.
Best wishes,
AN

"learnandsmile" :
Personally, I got very weary of the phrase "education is fun" because not all my lessons can be fun (sorry to disappoint you). But, I have noticed that when there is a challenge that is solved, a problem that is cracked, it usually puts a smile on a learner's face so as to say "Now, I have got it. I am so pleased. Tell me more about this". This is what great learning is about, isn't it? It is the smile of achievement that I like to see and that gives me most satisfaction as a teacher.

Hello, Françoise.

You're off to a great start with your blog. I particularly like the way it looks and the catchy title.

Your choice of photos presented quite a contrast! There's hardly ever any snow here in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A., but we had some (along with colder-than-normal temperatures) last week. In other parts of Arizona, however, cold temperatures and snow are normal!

Good luck to you and your students as you make use of "Learn and Smile"!

A great start! Wonderful pictures - what a contrast! No snow in Brazil, unfortunately... And we're having a very wet summer in the southeast, so not so much of a sun either...
Congratulations!

Francoise, I love the photos! How beautiful the snow looks...which we had some. It has been a very dry winter here in Massachusetts, USA.

Look forward to reading your writings.

Peace, Linda

Hi Francoise!
I find your two pictures (¿"Switzerland or Narnia?" and "Carpe diem")fascinating, and inviting to start a relationship...I mean, I can infer several nice things about you just by looking at them...
Great start to get visitors hooked and come back for more! ;=)
I hope we keep in touch.
Big hug,
Gladys
